  • This unica series in acrylic on canvas plays with the very idea of ARTSPOIL. Each tile gently repeats and modulates three basic components: a red abstract background composed by layer upon layer, entangled white strings that seem to alter shape constantly and finally a number of black dots which seem identical in shape and color but instead varies in place and distance. By reducing the formal motive to an interaction between these three fundamental elements Ulla Mørch simply shows us the essence of painting: Shape, color and composition. It is pure and it is true.
