  • With a twist of Scandinavian elegance and humour graphical artist Andrea Eedes combines the traditional Japanese art of Origami – the art of folding paper into beautiful shapes and figures – with a modern touch of Nordic geometry and colour. Origami plus geometry is simply Origametry – a new ism? It is a clever thought – since the numerous ways of folding the same piece of paper resembles the very essence of ARTSPOIL – being the art of reinventing and recombining the same square canvas over and over again.

By adding beautiful titles such as Midnight Swim and Mountain Pass to the 12 pieces of folded, colourful geometry, Andrea Eedes is inviting all of us to create our own mental landscapes full of adventures.
